What Is the Essence and Inspiration Behind “AMERICA UNDER ATTACK”?

“‘AMERICA UNDER ATTACK’ is inspired by the story of the Twin Towers and the impact those images had on me. I remember watching everything live on television from Spain, and at first I honestly thought it was a movie. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.
That moment shocked me deeply. Seeing people desperate, the chaos, the fear, and an entire world suddenly changing in front of our eyes stayed in my mind forever.
This song is my way of expressing that feeling of disbelief, pain, fear, and emotional impact that millions of people felt that day. It’s not only about a historical event—it’s about how one moment can change the world and leave a scar on an entire generation.”
El Cata 78 composes from lived experience:
“My songs are real stories. Some are born from events that have impacted the world, while others come from personal experiences, emotions, heartbreak, and bad decisions in love. Every song reflects real feelings and moments that, in one way or another, anyone can relate to.
Music is my way of transforming memories, pain, anger, passion, and real emotions into stories that people can connect with. Because even though everyone experiences life differently, in the end we all share emotions that unite us.”
Inspired by bands like Green Day, The Offspring, R.E.M., and Bon Jovi, he spent an entire year working full-time with a friend to shape this project. In February, he released his debut CD, “TOXIC”, featuring “BREAKING THE RULES”—a track that has already surpassed 2K streams.
Gradually, he’s achieved things he never imagined: placements on playlists, features in magazines and radio stations, and even collaboration with Michaelides, who has worked with bands like U2.
Today, his goal is clear: to reach more people with his music, staying grounded yet never stopping himself from dreaming. Because all of this was born from real experiences, genuine emotions, and the desire to turn personal moments into something universal.
